고성 천연가스 발전소의 색채디자인을 진행하였습니다.
디자인그룹메카는 기존의 발전소와 차별화를 두기위해 색채디자인을 진행하였습니다. 기존의 발전소들은 따분하고 칙칙하며 사람들에게는 기피되는 장소입니다.
이러한 문제점들을 색채디자인을 통해 선진적이고 미래지향적인 방향으로 만들고자 하였습니다.
I have conducted the color design for the Goseong Natural Gas Power Plant.
Design Group Mecca carried out the color design to differentiate it from existing power plants. Traditional power plants are often perceived as dull, rigid, and undesirable places. Through color design, we aimed to transform these drawbacks into a more progressive and futuristic direction.
" 자연, 바다와의 연결 " (Gradation)
바다가 생명이라는 증거는 끊임없는 움직임으로부터 찾을 수 있다. 바다의 움직임의 연속과 연결 속에 존재하는 자연스러움에서 건축물의 색채를 선정했다.
문명과 사회가 생명이라 한다면 전기를 생산하는 발전소는 문명과 사회에 움직일 힘을 끊임없이 불어넣는 역할을 한다.
바다의 역할과 색, 특성은 단순하지 않으며 매 순간 변화한다. 변화는 바다의 자연스러움을 그라데이션으로 건축물 입면에 표현하여 건축물 색채의 사각적 정체성을 공고히 한다.
"Connection with Nature and the Sea" (Gradation)
The evidence of the sea as a source of life can be found in its continuous movement. In the continuous flow and connection of the sea's movements, the naturalness inherent in this connection was chosen for the color scheme of the building.
If civilization and society are considered as life, then a power plant that generates electricity plays a constant and vital role in infusing energy into civilization and society.
The role, color, and characteristics of the sea are not simple and constantly change with each moment. Expressing the naturalness of the sea through gradation on the facade of the building solidifies the visual identity of the architectural color palette.
